How to translate Canva files with Pairaphrase
This article explains how to translate content created in Canva using Pairaphrase.
Follow these steps to translate your Canva designs:
1. Export from Canva
Once your design is finalized in Canva:
-
Click “Share” in the top-right corner
-
Select “Download”
-
Choose Microsoft PowerPoint (.pptx) as the file format
-
Click “Download”
Your design will now be saved in a PowerPoint-compatible format ready for translation in Pairaphrase.
2. Upload and Translate in Pairaphrase
-
Log in to your Pairaphrase account
-
Go to File Translator
-
Upload your .pptx file
-
Select the source and target languages
-
Click Translate
You’ll receive an AI-generated translation, which you can refine directly in the Translation Editor. Edits you make are saved to your organization’s Translation Memory to improve future translations.
3. Export to Image (Optional)
After translating, download the translated .pptx file. If you need your design as an image:
-
Open the translated PowerPoint in Microsoft PowerPoint or Google Slides
-
Save each slide as an image (JPG or PNG) using the “Export” or “Download” options
This step is useful for social media, presentations, and printed materials.
Summary
While Canva files aren't natively supported in Pairaphrase, exporting to PowerPoint (.pptx) gives you a seamless path to high-quality translations. From there, you can return to image formats as needed.
