How to Use the AI Sandbox to Write Original Content in Pairaphrase

This article explains how to use the Sandbox to generate original content from your prompts.

The AI Sandbox in Pairaphrase isn’t just for translation — you can also use it to generate original content from your prompts. This feature helps you brainstorm, draft, and refine content in multiple languages directly within the secure Pairaphrase environment.

Whether you need marketing copy, lesson materials, internal communications, or creative writing, the Sandbox can assist you.

Step 1: Access the Sandbox

  1. Log into your Pairaphrase account.
  2. Navigate to Translate in the main menu.
  3. Click AI Sandbox.

This will open the workspace where you can enter your own prompts.

Step 2: Select Your Model

Before running your prompt, you can choose which AI model to generate your content. Each model has unique strengths:

  • PairaphraseGPT → Optimized for translation + natural language processing.
  • Llama 3 (7B) → Strong reasoning, fluent text generation, multilingual understanding.
  • Gemma 3 (4B) → Excels at summarization, reasoning, Q&A, and decent translation.
  • Phi 3 (3B) → Best for English content generation (e.g., articles, blogs).
  • ChatGPT 4o → Latest ChatGPT standards with strong general writing ability.
How to select a model:
  1. Click the gear icon ⚙️ next to “PairaphraseGPT.”
  2. Choose your model from the list.
  3. Click Save.

Your chosen model will now be used in the Sandbox until you change it.

Step 4: Write Your Prompt

Type a clear instruction for what you’d like PairaphraseGPT or the selected model to create. Examples:

  • “Write a LinkedIn post about the benefits of secure translation software.”
  • “Draft an email to parents about the first day of school.”
  • “Create a video script in Spanish about our new AI-powered features.”




The more specific your prompt, the more accurate the output.

Step 3: Review & Refine

  • PairaphraseGPT will generate a draft for you.

  • If you’d like to improve it, you can:

    • Add follow-up instructions (e.g., “Make it shorter,” “Use a friendlier tone,” “Add bullet points”).
    • Re-run the prompt with different wording to explore alternative outputs.

Step 5: Copy & Use Your Content

Once you’re happy with the output:

  • Copy the text directly from the Sandbox.
  • Paste it into your document, email, or design tool.

Note: This feature is for generating original written content, not file-based translations. For translating documents, use the File Translator instead.

Security & Privacy

All Sandbox activity takes place inside Pairaphrase’s secure platform. Unlike public AI tools, your prompts and content are encrypted and never exposed to external systems.
